Message From The East

Brethren:

I wish to thank all of the brothers for their support and encouragement this past year. I know that at times you may have thought that things could have been handled better or more efficiently. I hope that we have corrected these problems to make things more enjoyable for all.

I can not thank Brother Ollie Snyder enough for his tireless diligence in helping to put the Lodge affairs in order. He has spent countless hours helping to resolve issues that have been unattended to for many years . I want to thank our retiring Treasurer, Brother Stanley Loewner PM for his many years of dedication to the Lodge. Stanley has always put the Lodge and its finances at the top of his priorities. I want to thank Brother Howard Seltzer for his incredible dedication to the Craft. Brother Seltzer has attended almost every Lodge function, practice, memorial service or outing. Additionally, I want to thank the Brothers that were Line Officers and those that are new Line Officers. These men gave of their time to attend practices and exemplifications. Without their help, this Lodge would have ceased to function.

I am much honored to have been re-elected Master of King David's Lodge. I am heartened by the participation of many of our new brothers and new Master Masons. This new blood is vital to keeping the Lodge and the ritual going strong. I am again asking every member to help me keep things going forward. This is especially true for the Lodge Ritual. I need more than just Past Masters to be willing and able to fill the chairs for the upcoming ritual work we have planned.

Finally, I wish to thank Brother Past Masters Ron Wernsdorfer and Dick Smith for thier support, guidance, and participation. No Master can be successful without the support and encouragement of the Past Masters. These two Brothers have helped guide me through my first year. Additionally they have helped with the Blood Drive and the Brotherly Love Campaign.
